Fast 5 - LCAP

Each school district in California must develop a Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) that describes the school district’s overall vision for students, annual goals, and specific actions the district will take to achieve the vision and goals. This highly collaborative process gathers input from parents, students, staff, and advisory councils at in-person forums as well as online surveys.

Newport-Mesa Unified School District’s LCAP goals are aligned to district priorities and include:

1.       Mental Health, Wellness and Engagement

2.       Student Academic Success

3.       Conditions of Learning

4.       Family and Community Engagement
